P- 1412 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />ONE (1) XEROX COPIER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br />PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES BID BPA <br />#010580105 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 54200 of the Government Code, <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City by and through its Board of Port <br /> <br />Commissioners may request any local agency as defined by Section <br /> <br />54201 of the California Government Code to purchase materials, <br /> <br />equipment, .or supplies on behalf of the Port of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles, Bid BPA #010580105 <br /> <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other <br /> <br />public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from Xerox <br /> <br />Corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the County of Los Angeles <br /> <br />conforms to' the requirements of Redwood Ci ty Code Section 2. 80; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Board to <br /> <br />purchase one (1) Xerox 5340 Copier from Xerox Corporation <br /> <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the County of <br /> <br />Los Angeles Bid BPA #010580105; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />
