(Second reading.) (703) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on November 17, 1997. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Claire, Hartnett, Ira, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Howard <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2134 AMENDING SECTION 20.99 OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY BY AMENDING SUBDIVISION H THEREOF AND <br /> ADDING SUBDIVISION L THERETO, RELATING TO ANGLE PARKING ON <br /> MIDDLEFIELD ROAD AND MAIN STREET, RESPECTIVELY; AMENDING <br /> SECTION 20.132.13 OF SAID CODE RELATING TO PARKING METER ZONES <br /> ON MAIN STREET, AND AMENDING SECTION 20.132.15 OF SAID CODE BY <br /> ADDING SUBDIVISIONS M, N, AND O TO SAID SECTION RELATING TO <br /> PARKING METER ZONES ON MIDDLEFIELD ROAD (INCLUDING TIlE <br /> CLAIRE/BUCFIAN MOTION INSTRUCTING STAFF NOT TO INSTALL <br /> METERS UNLESS DIRECTED TO DO SO BY COUNCIL); <br /> <br /> ADOPTED BY UNANIMOUS ROLL CALL VOTE. <br /> <br /> City Attorney Schrieker asked, "Is there any concern by the Council with <br /> respect to the configuration of the parking spaces? Some of them are angle <br /> parking, some of them are parallel parking. Is that a problem at all, or are we <br /> just talking about meter zones. The nodding of the heads means, just meter <br /> zones. So, the developer could go ahead and put in the striping and all this sort <br /> of thing? OK." <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
