<br />~..:".~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />Wh~REAS Ordinance No. 486, adopted by the City <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood City on the 4th day'of January, <br /> <br />1943, provides in section 1.7 thereof for the designation by <br /> <br />resolution or motion of this Council f~r the placing by the <br /> <br />Police Department <br /> <br />~. -p <br />,-.l~ <br /> <br />this city at or adjacent to <br /> <br />intersections <br /> <br />of streets within this city of signs to indicate that no "U" <br /> <br />turn or turn in the opposite direction shall be made by the <br /> <br />driver of a vehicle at such intersection; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that the Police <br /> <br />Department of this city be and it is hereby directed to place <br /> <br />at or adjacent to the following intersections in said city <br /> <br />signs to indicate that, Sunda,ys and holidays -excepted, no nUn ~ <br /> <br />turn or turn in the opposite direction shall be made by the <br /> <br />driver of 8 vehicle between 8 A. M. and 6 F.'M. at such inter- <br /> <br />se ction: <br /> <br />Main street and Maple street; <br />Main street and Middlefield Road; <br />Main street and Stambaugh street; <br />Main street and Broadway; <br />Broadway and Jefferson Avenue; <br />Broadway and Middlefield Road; <br />Broadway and Hamilton street; <br />Broadway and 'Winslow street; <br />Broadway and Ar>guello street; ~ <br />Broadway end California and Perry streets; <br />Broadway and EI Camino Real; <br />Brewster Avenue and Perry street; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is <br /> <br />hereby directed to procure appropriate signs to enable said <br /> <br />Police Department to execute this resolution. <br /> <br />Pe,ssed and adopted by the Council of the Ci ty of <br /> <br />Redwood City at 8 regular meeting thereof held on the 15th <br /> <br />day of February,. 1943, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing <br /> <br />resolution: <br /> <br />Councilmen: <br /> <br />.ANDERSON <br /> <br />BRITSCHGI <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />FLETCHER <br /> <br />HILTON <br /> <br />L.
