<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS a bill has been introduced in the Legislature, <br /> <br />~',' . <br /> <br />Assembly Bill No. 1672, sponsored by our Assemblyman, Honorable <br /> <br />Harrison W. Call, and others, providing aid to cities for Civilian <br /> <br />Defense purposes, and establishing a Board to administer such <br /> <br />aid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />believes that such aid to this city, and other cities, is needed <br />for the prosecution of the war and to limit the effects of enemy <br /> <br />action, and that the whole state rather than any local Governmental <br /> <br />Agency should bear part of the expense of such activitie$; <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLVED tha t this Ci ty Council urges~ the a doption of <br /> <br /> <br />said Act and respectfully requests active support thereof by our <br /> <br />Senator and Assemblyman; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVEID' that copies of this resolution, certi- <br /> <br />fied by our Clerk, be sent to Senator Harry Pa'rkman and Assembly- <br /> <br />man Harrison W.
