<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />WHEREAS the SAN MATEO COUNTY WAR COUNCIL, in con- <br /> <br />formity with a suggestion or direction of the STATE WAR COUNCIL <br />OF THE STA TE OF CAL,IFORNIA he s reques ted tha t the name or <br />designation of the local Defense Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City be changed to the name or designation of REDWOOD CITY WAR <br /> <br />COUNCIL, <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the local Defense Council of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City that, in accordance with the provisions of Section <br /> <br />4.1 of an ordinance of said city, passed and adopted on the 16th <br /> <br />day of June, 1941, and known as Ordinance No,. 457, as amended <br /> <br />by Ordinance No. 478, passed and adopted on September 8, 1942, <br />the name of this local" Defense Council be changed, by and with <br />the consent of the City Council of the City of Redwood City, to <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY WAR COUNCIL.: <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary be, and he is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to advise the San Mateo County War Council <br /> <br />of the adoption of this resolution and that the City Council <br /> <br />be notified of the adoption hereof. <br /> <br />Passed and <br /> <br /> <br />Defense Council <br /> <br />at a regular meeting <br /> <br />of August, 1943. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ouneil <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />tC,J/~ <br />Secre ary <br />
