i ..1 ~- RES 0 L D T ION ESTABLISHING POST-WP,.R PROJECTS TRUST FUND WFffiREAS the City Council of the City of Redwood City has unanimously determined th8t a fund should. be established now, and augmented from year to year for the dur&tion of the present war, for the purpose of-acquiring property and making permanent improvements when materials and labor are available therefor, and for the employment of men discharged from military s e r vie e s; an d WHEREAS said City Council intends that the money of such fund shall not be diverted to current expenses of said municipal government, or for any purpose other than that for which said fund is established; NOW TEEREFORE EE IT RESOLVED by said Ci ty Council that a Post-War Projects Trust Fund be and the same is hereby established, and that the sum of $25,000.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated and set apart into said trust fund out of the revenues of said city for the fiscal year 1943-1944 in Bccord- ance with the budget for said year heretofore adopted, and the tax rate established for' sald fis-cal year, and that $aid trust fund, together with additions thereto in subsequent'fiscal years for the duration of the present war, be and the same is hereby constituted and designated as a public trust to be known as the nPost-War Projects Irrust Fund", and the.t no part of the money in said fund at any time shall be used or appropriated for any purpose other than for the acquisition of property and the con- struction and performance of the public works designated in the Planned Program of Public Works prepared by Robert W. Mead, City Manager, dated January, 1943, and ap!)roved by this City Council; provided, however, that this City Council reserves the right to -1-
