<br />_ ~ ";:'.c <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N No. 102 <br /> <br />CERTIFYING THE CREATION OF A WAR COUNCIL AND <br />CERTIFYING THE NAME OF THE EXECUTIVE HEAD AND THE <br />PERSONNEL OFFICER THEREOF. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council. of the City of Redwood <br />City heretofore, to wit: on the 15th day of November, 1943, <br />adopted a resolution agreeing to follow tbe rules and regu~ <br />lations established by the California stete"War Council.' under <br />date of October 7, 1943, in accordance with .the requirements <br />of Bulletin No. 19 from saidCallfornia state War Council; and <br />WHEREAS, said California state War Council on <br />December, 2, 1943, amended Section V of said rules and regula- <br />tions; <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City has created <br />a War Council by ordinance and does maintain and will maintain <br />such War Council within said city for the duration of the <br />present war; that HONORABLE FLOYD D. GRANGER has been designated <br />as the Executive Head of said War Council of Redwood City, and <br />that his address is the City Hall, Redwood City, California; <br />that (MRS.) FLORENCE DONNELLY haa been appointed Personnel Of- <br />ficer of said local War Council, and that she does maintain <br />and will maintain complete and accurate records of the registra- <br />tion of all volunteers in theloc~l Civilian Defense Organiza- <br />tion in Redwood City who are eligible for compensation in case <br />of injury or death, and that said Personnel Officer be and she <br />is hereby charged with the responsibility of reporting any in~ <br />jury or death under both t~e Federal and state programs for com- <br />pensation of Civilian Defense workers who are injured or killed <br />in connection wi th lcivilie.n protection or civilian war services; <br />FURTHER RESOLVEID that a copy of this resolution, to- <br /> <br />~ 1... <br />
