<br />I ~f/) <br />, f <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 131 <br /> <br />AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF <br />BREWSTER 1; VENUE, ETC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS'the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />did, in open session, on the 21st day of August, 1944, publicly <br /> <br /> <br />examine and declare all sealed bids or proposals for doing <br /> <br />the following work and making the following improvements in <br /> <br />said City of Redwood City, to wit: <br /> <br />Furnishing all labor, material a~d equipment <br />for the improvement of the existing pavement on portions of <br /> <br />Brewster Avenue, Hamilton street, Middlefield Road and Mar- <br /> <br />"" <br /> <br />shall street by resurfacing with asphaltic concrete (....~ <br />:n.ix~U1XDxtiBxiaID~~"~ a nd the cons truction <br /> <br />of fourteen (14) inverted syphon storm drains consisting of <br /> <br /> <br />reinforced cement concrete drop inlet catch basins with cast <br /> <br />iron frames, gratings and curb inlets with connecting ,drain <br /> <br />pipes across street intersections to replace existing open <br /> <br />gutters; <br /> <br />RESOLVED that said Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that <br /> <br />next herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing <br /> <br />said work and making said improvements to the lowest, regular, <br /> <br />responsible bidder, to wi t:- <br /> <br />U.iOil PaY!., Cempamy <br /> <br />at the prices named in <br /> <br />llita <br /> <br />bid. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of August, <br /> <br />1944, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the adoption of the foregoing' <br /> <br />resolution:: Ii.
