'", <e?, <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 143 <br />ACCEPTANCE OF LANHAM ACT FUNDS FOR RECREATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS I there has been fl1 ad with the Federal Worka~ <br />Agency in behalf' of' the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (herein callea. <br />the "owner"), an application for Federal assistance under <br />the War Public Works program, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, <br />aoting by and through the Federal Works Administrator, has <br />transmitted to the Owner an Offer of Federal assistance in con- <br />nection with the public works referred to in saidappliea- <br />tion and described in said Offer; and <br />WHEREAS, said Offer has been duly read in open meeting, <br />fully considered in accordance with all pertinent rules of <br />procedure and 1 ega1 requ1remen ts, and made a part of the <br />Owner's public records; and <br />WHEREAS, it 1s deemed advisable and in the public <br />interest that said Otfer be acceptedr. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEII by the City Council of' <br />the Ovlller that the said Offer, a true and correct copy of <br />which, including the Terms and Conditions, is hereto attached, <br />be and the same hereby is accepted without reservation or <br />qualification. <br />Passed by the aforementioned "governing body or the Owner <br />on the 28th day of August, 1944. <br />Approved on the 28th day of August, 1944, by the City <br />Manager of' the Owner. <br />Publication is not required. <br /> <br />City Manager <br />Ayes and in favor of the adoption of the foregoing <br /> <br />-1- <br />
