<br />L.) <br /> <br />') <br />! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER 208 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING CONTRACT POR MAINTENANCE OF <br /> <br />UNION CEMETERY BY STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City enter into a <br /> <br />written contract with the Department of Finance of the State of <br /> <br />California for the maintenance and care of Union Cemetery for the <br /> <br />biennium from July 1, 1945 to June 30, 1947, and for the payment <br />by the State of California to this city of a sum not to exceed <br />$1875.00 in each year of said biennium for such care and main- <br /> <br />tenance payable monthly upon verified statements from this city <br />to the Director of Finance of said State of California, of the <br /> <br />labor, materials, etc. used in such care and maintenance of said <br /> <br />cemetery, any expenses incurred beyond the amount of said approp- <br /> <br />- ria tion to be paid by the Ci ty of ,Redwood City; <br /> <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to execute such contract on behalf of this City. <br /> <br />Passed and Adopted by the Council of the City of Red- <br /> <br />wood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of <br /> <br />June, 1945, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage and adoption of the <br /> <br />foregoing resolution: Councilmen: Anderson, Armstrong, Britschgi, <br /> <br />Granger, McNulty and Hilton. <br /> <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing resolu- <br /> <br />tion: Councilmen: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen <br /> <br />Fle~7 f!t/~- <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Attest: LILt.
