<br />2/:a.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 212 <br /> <br />A'CCEPrANCE OF LANHAM ACT FUNDS, FOR <br />RECREATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Bureau of Community <br />Facilities of the Federal Works Agency in behalf of the, City <br />Council of the City of Redwood City (herein called the ttAPp1icant") <br />an applicat1c>n for federal assistance under the so-called Lanham <br />Act, as amended, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting by and <br />through the Commissioner of Community Facilities, has transmitted to <br />the Applicant for acceptance an Agreement of federal assistance in <br />connection with the Project referred to in said Application and <br />described in sa1dAgreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Agreement has been duly ,read in open meeting, <br />fully considered inaecordanee with all pertinent rules ofproced- <br />ure and legal requirements, 'and made a part of the Applicant's <br />public records; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest <br />that said agreement be accepted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the <br />Applicant that the said Agreement, a true and correct' copy of <br />which, inoluding the Terms and Conditions, is hereto attached, be <br />and the same hereby 1s accepted without reservation or qualifiea- <br />tlon . <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the council of the City of Redwood <br />City on the 16th day of July , 1945, at a regular meeting of ,said <br />Council, duly-called and held at the Council Chambers in the <br />City RaIl in said City of Redwood City, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage and adoption of the fore- <br />going resolution: <br /> <br />Commissioners: Anderson..
