~, -,.;-, ~c <l'l', ~ RES 0 L UTI 0 ,N No. J 01 REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF A ~uISANCE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the 18th day of March, 1946, pass and adopt Resolution No. 290 Declaring Weeds A Nuisance and Ordering Their Removal, in which resolution it was declared that noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, boule- vards and highwayS' in said city, and upon all the lots and pro- perty in said city, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire mBnace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance; and WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution No. 290 Declaring Weeds A Nuisance and Ordering Their Removal, the Super- intendent of streets of the City of Redwood City duly and regularly caused to be posted notices of the passage of said resolution in time, form, manner and number as required by law; and WHEREAS, a t the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution when objections to the removal of such weeds would be heard and given consideration by the Council of the City of Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made against the removal of said weeds, and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereof; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the Superintencrent of Streets of said city be'and he is hereby ordered 'and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified in said Resolution No. 290 Declaring We.eds A Nuisance and Ordering Their Removal, and as provided by law.
