<br />--~,--,'- <br /> <br />'~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 320 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DEED OF LOT 29 IN <br />BLOCK 1 OF HOOPER AND CUNNINGm~M SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City obtained a decree of <br /> <br />the Superior Court of the state of California in and for the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo on September 17, 1945 in an action to establish <br /> <br />and quiet the titl-e of said Ci t~r to the real . property herein- <br /> <br />after described, and a certified copy of said judgment was there- <br /> <br />af'ter re corded in the offi ce of the Recorder of San IvIa tea CO\ln ty, <br /> <br />State of California; and <br /> <br />WHERBAS, thereafter, the real l:roperty hereinafter <br /> <br />described w~s soli for delinquent taxes by Ralph MacArthur as <br /> <br />County Tax Collector of said County and State, and this City has <br /> <br />received"its prorata of the proceeds of such sale; and <br /> <br />WllliREAS, ROBERT L. ELTRINGHAM and FAl~JIE ELTRINGHAM, <br /> <br />his wife, purchased said property at said tax sale and thereafter <br /> <br />conveyed said property to HELEN HAwlliIN who has filed a suit in <br /> <br />said Superior Court to establish and quiet title to said property, <br /> <br />said action being numbered 40453 and this City has no longer <br /> <br />any title or interest in or to said pr0perty; <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City execute a <br /> <br />qui tclaim deed to said ROBERT L. ELTRINGHAM and FANNIE ELTRINGHAIvl <br /> <br />of the real property hereina~ove referred t~ which is situated <br /> <br />.in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of Calif- <br /> <br />ornia and particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Lo t numbered tvven ty-nine (29) in Blo ck numbered <br />one (1) as shown on tha t certain map enti tl ed "Map of Hoopel~ <br />and Cunningham Subdivision. A part of Lot 28 and all of <br />Lots 30 and 32 of the Wooster, Whitton and Montgomery's <br />Subdivision of a part of the Redwood parm, Redwood City, <br />San Mateo Co. Californiau, which map was filed in the office <br />of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on April 10, <br />1907 in Book HEft of Original Maps' a t page 58 and COIJied in to <br />Book 4 of Maps at page 62. <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor a~d City Clerk of this <br /> <br />City be and they are hereby .authorized to execute such quitclaim <br /> <br />deed for and on behalf of this City. <br />
