STAFF aRD and ISL.BELLA M.G. <br /> <br />STAFFORD, his wife, have made a gift to the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City of eight lots on Hopkins Avenue, King and Lowell streets, <br /> <br />for a cultural recreational center; <br /> <br />RESOLVED tha t this Council of the Ci ty of Redvvood Ci ty, <br /> <br />on behalf of all the people of this City and as the governiling <br /> <br />body thereof, hereby express to Daniel R. Stafford and Isabella <br /> <br /> <br />M. G. Stafford, his wite, their deep appreciation and gratitude <br /> <br />j,' <br /> <br />for the generosity and public spirit manifested by the donors <br /> <br />in granting to the City, without cost, this splendid property <br /> <br />located in an area of the City where heretofore no recreational <br /> <br />facilities have been provided. <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that this Council express to Daniel <br /> <br />R. Stafford its recognition of his public spirited services to <br /> <br />this City for more than fifty years. <br /> <br />The above and foregoing Resolution W2S passed and <br /> <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br /> <br />regular meeting thereof held on the 3d day of J~me, 1946, by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />A~{ES: Councilmen: C.
