",-,,-,,-, <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No. 363A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE UNUSED <br />PORTION OF MIDDLEFIELD ROAD (FORMERLY <br />WEBSTER STREET). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) years ago the City of Red- <br /> <br /> <br />wood City relocated that portion of Middlefield Road (formerly <br /> <br /> <br />Webster Street) extending from the northwesterly line of Jeffer- <br /> <br />sane Avenue to a point where said street crosses .a branch of the <br /> <br />Redwood Creek and ever since said date the lines of said Middle- <br /> <br />field Road have been located on the ground as they are now <br /> <br />situated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council intended heretofore to vacate <br /> <br /> <br />the portion of Middlefield Road (formerly Webster street) herein <br /> <br />particularly described; <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the Council declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate and abandon as a public street all that real property being <br />in the City of Hedwood City, County of San Mateo, and being a por- <br />tion of Webster Street as shown on that certain map entitled "Map <br />of the Property in Villa Lots of J. V. Diller, situated in Redwood <br /> <br />Oi ty", filed September 18, 1863 in Book "Ett of Maps a t page 77" <br /> <br /> <br />Official Records of San Mateo County, California, and more parti- <br /> <br /> <br />cularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of Block 3 as <br />shown on the aforesaid map; thence northeasterly on the pro- <br />longation of the northwesterly line of Jefferson Street as <br />shown on said map to a point distant 60 feet, measured at <br />right angles, from the northeasterly line of Middlefield <br />Road (formerly Webster Street) as established on March 1925 <br />by C. L. Dimmitt, Civil Engineer, in a survey of the pro- <br />perty of the Episcopal Church, which survey is on file in <br />the office of the City Engineer, Redwood City, California; <br />thence northwesterly along a line parallel to and distant <br />~O feet from said northeasterly line of Middlefleld Road to <br />a point on the prolongation of the northwesterly line of said <br />Block 3; thence southwesterly on the prolongation of said <br />northwesterly line to the most northerly corner of said Block <br />3;' thencesoutheast:e~ly'alqng the northeasterly line of said <br />B16ck 3 to the point of beginning~ <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that August 5th, 1946 at 8 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />at the City Hall in Redwood City are hereby fixed as the time and <br /> <br />1. <br />
