<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />364 <br /> <br />R.ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICArrION FOR ALLOTMENT OF <br />PORTION OF COST OF PREPARING PLANS OF SEWAGE TREAT~ <br />MEN'T AND DISPOSAL PLANT. <br /> <br />1. 'vYHERE:AS, the Stat e of Cal ifornia under Chaper 47 , Statutes <br />of 1944, (4th Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment <br /> <br />by the Director of Finance to provide financial assistance to Lo- <br /> <br />oal Agenoies defined.therein as counties, cities or oities and <br /> <br /> <br />counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the <br /> <br />oost of preparing engineering field surveys, engineering orarchi- <br /> <br />tectural designs, and working and detailed drawings and specifica- <br /> <br /> <br />tions (hereinafter called "Plansll) required for postwar public works <br /> <br /> <br />projects described as "specific projects" in said Act; ~nd <br /> <br /> <br />2. WHEREAS, the Oity of Redwood City, hereinafter designated as <br /> <br /> <br />"Local Agency", desires to apply to the Director of Finance and/.or <br /> <br />the Post War Publio Works Review Board, as the case may be, for an <br /> <br />allotment of the State's 8t~re of the estimated cost of preparing <br /> <br />the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been prepared <br /> <br /> <br />and presented to this Legislative Body for considera.tion an appli- <br /> <br />cation for such purpose; and <br />3. WHEREAS J Local Agency has provided, or vvill make available <br />upon approval of the aforementioned application, sufficient funds <br />to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned; <br />4. NOW TnEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the <br />aforesaid applioat ion tot he Direct or of Finance, and/ or the Post War <br /> <br />Public Works Review Board, as the case may be, requ.esting allotment of <br /> <br /> <br />six thousand seven hundred and eighty-one dollars ($6,781.00) being <br /> <br /> <br />not more than one-half of the' estimated cost of preparing said com-. <br /> <br /> <br />pleted plans, or for such a~ount as may be approved by the Director <br /> <br /> <br />of Finance and/or the Post War Public Works Review Board (said allot- <br /> <br />1 <br />
