~~~~ , , _.~.~ RESOLUTION NO. 397 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF STRUCTURES FOR RECREATIONAL PARK PURPOSES RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, California, that it finds and determines and hereby de~ clares; That public interest and necessity require the acqui- sition, construction and completion by the City of Redwood City of public improvements, namely, a recreational park and such structures as now on the propevty hereinafter described; That the use of said structures is a public use author- ized by law; That the taking of such structures in addition to taking of the land upon which said structures stand is necessary to and for such public use, and that it is necessary that all of said structures now on said land be so taken; That said recreational park, including such structures as now stand thereon are planned and located in a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury; FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager of this City be and is hereby authorized and empowaved; To acquire in the name of this City the structures ,j upon the real~property hereinafter described by condemnation in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Proced- ure of the state of Californ~a relating to eminent domain; To have prepared, filed and prosecuted in the name of this City an amendment to the complaint in the action now pend- ing in the Superior Court of this County and the state entitled "City of Redwood City, a Municipal Corporation, Plaintiff vs. Homer L. Adler, et al, defendants", to condemn said structures for such use;
