RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT - COMMUNITY PARK RECREATION BUILDING WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, as Lessor, and the San Francisco Forty Niners, as Lessee, entered into a Lease Agreement dated August 22, 1974 (the "Lease Agreement"), under which said Lessee leased certain land and improvements of the City for use as administrative offices and practice field facilities for Lessee's professional football team; and WHEREAS, the parties to the Lease Agreement propose to amend said agreement by extending the initial term thereof and by providing for certain major renovations and improvements to the practice field described in the Lease Agreement, to be constructed and installed at the Lessee's cost and expense; and WHEREAS, paragraph 27 of the Lease Agreement provides that amendments and modifications may be made to the Lease Agreement by written agreement approved by resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain Amendment to the Lease Agreement, entitled "Amendment to Lease Agreement - Community Park Recreation Building" (form dated 3/23/81), amending the initial term of the Lease Agreement and providing for the construction and installation of certain renovation improvements to the practice field therein described and providing related amendments, a copy of which Amendment to the Lease Agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * SS')/! . /~# ,)
