<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8802 <br /> <br />SHC:wb 2/12/81 <br />OftJG1NAL <br />FES 2 3 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONCRETE REMOVAL AND <br />CONSTRUCTION; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE~ffiNT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6762, adopted December <br /> <br />IS, 1980, the City Clerk called for bids for the CDBG Concrete <br /> <br />Removal and Construction Project in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMBO CONCRETE, INC., Union City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said AMBO CONCRETE, INC.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of AMBO CONCRETE, INC., in the amount of Ninety- <br /> <br />two Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-nine and 45/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($92,739.45), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 2, 1981, for the CDBG Concrete Removal and Construction <br /> <br />Project, according to those certain plans and specifications <br /> <br />entitled "Redwood City's 1980-81 Concrete Removal and Construction <br /> <br />CDBG Program, Redwood City, California" is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood city that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 2/12/81) by and <br /> <br />8802 <br />
