ION <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />868.2 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 2 5 1980 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH POLICE YOUTH CLUB OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. <br /> <br />has been established for the principal purpose of providing <br /> <br />recreational and educational activities for youth in Redwood CitYi <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, Inc. <br /> <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1981i and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Police Youth Club of Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />Inc. the sum of Ten Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($lO,OOO.OO)i and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Police Youth Club <br /> <br />of Redwood City, California, Inc., and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to approve the samei <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOREi <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/80), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Police Youth Club of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 6 8."'
