<br />CGM:wb 8/14/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8670 <br /> <br />ORIGINAl <br />AUG 1 8 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE STREET LIGHT MODIFICATION PROJECT - <br />PHASE II IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND AUTHORIZING <br />CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of the street light <br /> <br />modification project - Phase II in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the same and authorize <br /> <br />and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for the aforementioned <br /> <br />construction of the street light modification project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Street Lighting Modification - <br /> <br />1980" and those certain specifications entitled "Special provisions <br /> <br />and Plans for the Street Light Modification Project - Phase II," <br /> <br />prepared in the office of the Department of Public Works, are hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise <br /> <br />for bids for the construction of the above mentioned improvements, in <br /> <br />accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said advertise- <br /> <br />ment to be in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set <br /> <br />forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8670 <br />
