ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14967 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009 -2010 CAPITAL <br />PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO ADD CALIFORNIA MITIGATION AND <br />AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CMAQ) GRANT FUNDING <br />FOR THE EL CAMINO GRAND BOULEVARD PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ( "City ") was awarded $639,000 from the <br />California Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) to be expended for <br />the El Camino Real Grand Boulevard project, and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009, . the City Council of the City of Redwood City ( "City <br />Council ") approved its Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 budget did not include this grant funding <br />within the Capital Projects Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 budget should be amended to reflect this <br />additional grant funding in the amount of Six Hundred Thirty -Nine Thousand and No /100 <br />Dollars ($639,000.00) to be added to the Capital Projects Fund for this project, and <br />these funds should be appropriated for the El Camino Real Grand Boulevard project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the budget for Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 is amended to include <br />estimated revenues of $639,000.00 and to create the appropriation for the Capital <br />Projects Fund — Grant, District and Fees for the El Camino Real Grand Boulevard <br />project, Account Number 357 - 83133. <br />ATTY /RESO /RESO.1945 <br />090909 <br />1 <br />
