RESOLUTION NO. 15960 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY SETTING JUNE 28, 2021 AS THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET, DIRECTING COPIES OF THE RE C O M M E NDE D FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE AVAILABILITY OF THE RE CO M M E N DE D FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET AND THE DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council establish a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by resolution, the date for final adoption of such budget; and WHEREAS, the public hearing and final budget adoption date of June 28, 2021 for the fiscal year 2021-22 budget was approved in concept at the June 14, 2021 City Council meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C I T Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, June 28, 2021, at 6:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, virtually via Zoom teleconference at the following link: redwood cit .zoom.us or via phone at (669) 900- 6833 and entering Meeting ID 994 8182 5639, is hereby set as the time and place for public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2021-22 and also for final adoption of such budget. 2. The City Council directs that copies of the budget shall be filed with the City Clerk for inspection by the public. 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice to be published stating that copies of the proposed budget are available for inspection at the City Clerk's office and stating the time and place at which the Council will hold a public hearing. 4. This resolution is effective upon the date of its adoption.
