(702) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority Meeting on <br />July 26, 2021. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Espinoza-Garnica, Gee, Hale, Reddy, Smith and Mayor <br />Howard. <br />M/S Aguirre and Hale to: <br />1. By resolution, prohibit the entry of vehicles on Middlefield Road, between Broadway and <br />Winslow Street, except for bicycles, commercial vehicles, and emergency vehicles; <br />2. By motion, on the affirmative votes of at least five (5) members of the City Council, pursuant to <br />Municipal Code Section 2.67.4, find that due to site specific constraints there is only one <br />reasonable and practicable source for an electromechanical sliding bollard system suitable for <br />the Theatre Way Safety Improvement Project, and suspend the competitive bidding requirements <br />for this equipment purchase per Municipal Code Section 2.67.4; and <br />3. By Resolution, approve and authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a purchase <br />agreement with Intellimar Inc., dba Concentric Security, for two Matador Sliding Bollard device <br />systems in an amount not to exceed $260,000. <br />Motion passes 7-0 by roll call vote. <br />a"/�*'? rZ I <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
