<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 551. <br /> <br />AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROADWAY <br />EMBANKMENT ALONG STEINBERGER STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City did advertise for <br /> <br />sealed bids for the construction of a roadway embankment along <br />Steinberger street between Bayshore"Highway and Redwood Creek; <br />and <br /> <br />VffiEREAS all sealed proposals were publicly opened and <br /> <br />read in the office of the City Manager, City Hall, Redwood <br />City, California, on Friday, February 20,- 1948; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREF'ORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the contract for doing the work hereinabove <br /> <br />referred to is hereby awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, <br /> <br />to-wit, EUGENE D. BADGER--total bid, $7,553.00. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />be, and he is hereby, authorized to make and enter into a <br /> <br />written contract with said successful bidder and to receive <br /> <br />and approve all bonds in connection therewith. <br /> <br />3.
