Y <br />6/11/01 <br />0RIGI1FJAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14238 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR <br />THE 2001 -2002 TRUCKING AND HAULING SERVICES; AND <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, contract documents for the 2001 -2002 Trucking and Hauling <br />Services (the "Contract Documents ") in the City of Redwood City, California, <br />have been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contract Documents provide that the City of Redwood <br />City is granted one (1) option to extend the term of the contract for a period of <br />one (1) year under the same terms and conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof and <br />authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the work therein <br />described; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain contract documents entitled, "Contract Documents for <br />the 2001 -2002 Trucking and Hauling Services, City of Redwood City, CA," <br />prepared by the Department of Public Works Services, a copy of which <br />documents are on file in the office the of the City Clerk, are hereby approved. <br />2.
