<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 593 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT <br />FOR MAINTENANCE OF UNION CEMETERY BY THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1948-49 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Chief, <br /> <br />Buildings and Grounds Division, Department of Finance, has <br /> <br /> <br />requested the City of Redwood City to maintain Union Cemetery; <br /> <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Sta.te of California has agreed to pay to <br />the Oity of Redwood Oity the sum of One Hundred Twenty-Five <br />Dollars ($125.00) per month for the period commencing July 1, <br />1948, to and including June 30, 1949, for such maintenance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oity Manager <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City be, and he is, hereby authorized <br /> <br /> <br />to execute the contract dated June 24, 1948, by and between <br /> <br /> <br />the State of California, through its Chief, Buildings and <br /> <br />Grounds Division, Department of Finance, and the Oity of Redwood <br /> <br /> <br />City, for the maintenance of the real property owned by the <br /> <br /> <br />State of California and commonly known as Union Cemetery, which <br /> <br /> <br />cemetery consists of approximately six (6) acres in the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City, San Mateo County, California. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.... <br />
