L <br />0RIGIiNAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14236 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR <br />THE 2001 -2002 COMPREHENSIVE STREET TREE <br />MAINTENANCE PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br />DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, contract documents for the 2001 -2002 Comprehensive Street <br />Tree Maintenance Project (the "Contract Documents ") in the City of Redwood <br />City, California, have been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contract Documents provide that the City of Redwood <br />City is granted four (4) consecutive yearly options to extend the term of the <br />contract under the same terms and conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof and <br />authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the work therein <br />described; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain contract documents entitled, "Contract Documents for <br />the 2001 -2002 Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Project City of <br />Redwood City, CA," prepared by the Department of Public Works Services, a <br />copy of which documents are on file in the office the of the City Clerk, are hereby <br />approved. <br />2.
