ORIGINAL <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR USE OF MENLO PARK FIRE PROTECTION <br />DISTRICT'S TRAINING FACILITIES <br />APlec L r4V i 2P24 <br />This agreement is dated and is between the Menlo Park Fire Protection District <br />(District) and the City of Redwood City (Agency). <br />Recitals <br />The Agency has expressed interest in conducting training exercises at facilities owned by <br />the District and located at the following locations: U.S.A.R. Site. District is willing to grant such <br />permission on the terms set forth herein. <br />Agreement <br />The District and Agency agree as follows: <br />1. Permission to use the facilities of the District is granted within the sole and <br />exclusive discretion of the District acting through its Fire Chief. Such permission <br />is revocable for any reason at any time and is subject to whatever conditions are <br />deemed necessary by the District. Agency shall conduct no activities of <br />whatsoever nature not expressly authorized by the District in advance of such use. <br />This agreement confers no rights of any kind or nature except those expressly set <br />forth herein. Members of the Agency shall not be deemed to be employees or <br />agents of the District by virtue of this agreement and District employees shall not <br />be deemed employees or agents of Agency. No activity of the Agency shall <br />contravene or violate any applicable law or regulation and shall at all times be in <br />compliance with any underlying agreements pertaining to the facilities such as <br />leases and licenses. <br />REV: 04-27-2021 MI <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.089/Menlo Park Fire Protection District (Page 1 of 4) <br />
