<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO. 812 <br /> <br />URGING ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR <br />EXTENSION OF BAYSHORE FREEWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS the continued increase in growth of population <br />and automobile traffic in San Mateo County has aggravated an <br />already grave traffic hazard on Bayshore Highway in San Mateo <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS the California state Highway Commission has <br /> <br />stated that funds are not available for the extension of Bay- <br /> <br /> <br />shore Highway Freeway in order to alleviate said grave traffic <br /> <br />hazaro- ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />hereby resolves as follows: <br />1. That Senator Harry A. Parkman and Assemblyman <br />Richard. J. Dolwig are hereby requested and urged to do every- <br />thing wi thin their po\v-er to secure emergency funds for exten- <br />slon of BaYshore Freeway in San Mateo County, and that adequate <br />provision be made in future budgets for the continued improve- <br />ment and extension of said Bayshore Freeway. <br /> <br />'* <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />... <br />
