Code § 27383 <br />TERMINATION <br />OF <br />CONTRACT BETWEEN REDWOOD CITY AND ANNE PARK FOR HISTORIC <br />PROPERTY PRESERVATION AT 127 FINGER AVENUE <br />This AGREEMENT ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of 1 13 <br />2022 ("Effective Date") by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and Anne Park, an individual <br />("Owner"), collectively "Parties." <br />RECITALS <br />A. Owner is the owner of the certain real property, together with associated <br />structures and improvements thereon, located at 127 Finger Avenue, Redwood <br />City, California 94062 (the "Property"). <br />B. On November 5, 2018 the City Council ("City Council") of the City of <br />Redwood City ("City") declared and designated the Property as a historic <br />landmark pursuant to the terms and provisions of Chapter 40 of the Redwood <br />City Code; and <br />C. On December 14, 2018, the City and Owner entered into a Contract <br />Between Redwood City and Anne Park for Historic Property Preservation at 127 <br />Finger Avenue (APN: 052-063-080) ("Mills Act Contract"); and <br />D. The Mills Act Contract is recorded with the County of San Mateo Clerk - <br />Recorder on December 20, 2018, as document No. 2018-099183; and <br />E. The Property sustained fire damage on April 2, 2020, and on September <br />30, 2020, Owner applied for the removal of the site's historic landmark <br />designation on the City's Historic Inventory and cancellation of the Mills Act <br />Contract; and <br />F. The City's Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on July <br />20, 2021, during which the Planning Commission passed Resolution No. 21-06 <br />recommending that the City Council approve the request to allow the removal of <br />REV: 03-31-2022 JB <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.061/Anne Park (Page 1 of 3) <br />
