<br />I <br />" <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 83.5 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING COMPROMISE OF SUIT FILED BY <br />LM~D DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AGAINST THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />vfrIEREAS there is now pending an action in the Superior <br /> <br />Court of the state of Cal~fornia, in and for the County of San <br /> <br /> <br />Mate~ against the City of Redwood City and certain officers <br /> <br />thereof, which action is entitled "Land Development Company, <br />et aI, vs. the City of Red1rJood Ci ty, et al", and is numbered <br />therein No. 49138; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of numerous conferences between the <br /> <br />plaintiffs and defendfints in said action, a basis for the compro- <br /> <br />mise of the differences as set out in said action has been agreed <br /> <br />upon and it is the desire of the pexties to said action to finally <br /> <br />settle, adjust and compromise their differenc~s respecting the <br /> <br />matters set out in said action; <br /> <br />NOVl, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood Ci ty, California, <br /> <br />hereby resolves as follows: <br /> <br />~..../-",.. <br /> <br />1.
