Code § 27383. <br />APN: 052.154.100 <br />CONTRACT BETWEEN REDWOOD CITY AND MARTA NICOLE FLORY AND MATTHEW <br />RYAN JOHNSTON FOR HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION OF <br />2312 HOPKINS AVENUE (APN: 052-154-100) <br />THIS CONTRACT, is made and entered into this q day of IUO Qr . 2022, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, hereinafter called ("City"), and Marta Nicole Flory and Matthew Ryan <br />Johnston, hereinafter called ("Owner(s)"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, California Government Code Sections 50280, et. seq. authorizes cities to <br />enter into contracts with the owners of qualified historic property to provide for the use, <br />maintenance and restoration of such historic property so as to retain its historical significance; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Owner possesses fee title in and to that certain real property, together with <br />associated structures and improvements thereon, located at 2312 Hopkins Avenue, Redwood <br />City, California (the "Historic Property") (a legal description of the Historic Property is attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A); and <br />WHEREAS, on November 14, 2022, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />declared and designated the Historic Property as a historic landmark pursuant to the terms and <br />provisions of Chapter 40 of the Redwood City Code; and <br />REV: 10-25-22 JB <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.378/Matthew Johnston (Mills Act Contract - 2312 Hopkins Ave) (Page 1 of 15) <br />
