<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 10.53 <br /> <br />DECLARING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18, AS <br />MAC ARTHUR DAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS General Douglas MacArthur is returning to this <br /> <br /> <br />country after having served the United states and the citizens <br /> <br /> <br />of the United States faithfully and well for a long period of <br /> <br />years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS it is proper and fitting that appropriate recog- <br /> <br /> <br />nition be given to General MacArthur's long period of faithful <br /> <br />service to this country; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED as follows: <br />1. Wednesday, April 18, 19.51, is hereby declared to be <br />General Douglas MacArthur Day in the City of 'Redwood City. <br />2.
