ATTY/RESO.0083/CC RESO CITY ATTORNEY EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT <br />REV: 11-19-24 MI <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />RESOLUTION NO. _____ <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO PROVIDE FOR ADJUSTMENT TO SEVERANCE <br />PAY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Redwood City Council periodically <br />determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and benefits plan for the appointed <br />position of City Attorney; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted an annual performance evaluation of <br />the City Attorney, and reviewed compensation with respect to survey data of comparable <br />positions in benchmark cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seeks to acknowledge the performance of the City <br />Attorney and ensure that compensation remains competitive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Sixth Amendment to City Attorney Employment Agreement, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, to effectuate the severance pay adjustment. <br />2.The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Sixth Amendment to City <br />Attorney Employment Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />3.This resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />* * * <br />16266
