REV: 06-12-25 LF <br />ABATEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />The SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT (“District”) and CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY (“Owner”) agree as follows: <br />1.The District will perform abatement services for the Owner’s problem site as described below. The District <br />will, as reasonably necessary, develop and implement mosquito surveillance and control activities with its <br />personnel, materials, and equipment at the problem site. <br />2.Problem site: The catch basin storm drain system in the presently developed areas of Redwood Shores. <br />3.The Owner will reimburse the District for man-hours at a rate of $72.29 per man-hour, with material costs not <br />exceeding $50,000 per fiscal year. The District will bill the Owner for the actual services and materials <br />provided. The Owner agrees to pay for these services within 30 days of receiving each bill. <br />4.The occurrence of any unusual problems requiring additional labor, equipment, and materials will necessitate a <br />change order as an addendum to this agreement. It is understood that any changes will be mutually agreed upon <br />before initiating the order. All additional costs related to change orders will be negotiated separately. <br />5.This agreement shall be effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.
