ATTY/RESO.0097/CC RESO AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND WAGE PLAN (POA) <br />REV: 09-16-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16356 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND WAGE AND <br />SALARY PLAN TO UPDATE THE SALARY RANGES FOR <br />CLASSIFICATIONS IN THE POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION AND <br />UNREPRESENTED POLICE OFFICER TRAINEE CLASSIFICATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved a 3% to 5% market adjustment effective <br />September 8, 2025, for classifications in the Police Officers' Association (“POA”), based <br />on a compensation survey for comparable cities based on data available as of <br />September 1, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, a compensation survey has been completed by the Human <br />Resources Department and results have been agreed to by the parties; and <br />WHEREAS, based on the results of the compensation survey, the City Council <br />approved a 3% market adjustment effective September 8, 2025, for classifications in the <br />POA, and for the unrepresented classification of Police Officer Trainee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City's Classification and Wage and Salary Plan for classifications <br />within POA, and the unrepresented classification of Police Officer Trainee, will be <br />amended as set forth in Exhibit A-1, and as listed in the full Compensation and Wage <br />and Salary Plan attached as Exhibit A-2. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />** *
