ATTY/RESO.0119/CC RESO AMENDING ADOPTED ELECTRIC VEHICLE FEE RESOLUTION <br />REV: 11-24-25 VR <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16372 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 16194 TO AMEND THE PHASE IN <br />OF THE ADOPTED ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING FEE <br />WHEREAS, on October 23, 2023, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2530 <br />which adopted an electric vehicle charging fee for City-owned electric vehicle charging <br />stations that went into effect on January 1, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 18, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. <br />16194 approving a phase in for the adopted electric vehicle charging fee for City-owned <br />charging stations; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend the phase in of the fee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />Section 2. The City Council hereby amends the phase in of the electric vehicle <br />charging fee adopted on October 23, 2023, as follows: <br />Service Effective <br />January 1, 2024 <br />Effective <br />January 1, 2025 <br />Effective <br />January 1, 2027 <br />Electric <br />Vehicle <br />Charging <br />Level I & II <br />Stations <br />$0.56 per <br />kilowatt hour <br />$1.12 per <br />kilowatt hour <br />$1.38 per <br />kilowatt hour <br />Once effective, the electric vehicle charging fee shall be incorporated into the City’s <br />Master Fee Schedule. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption. <br />* * *
