REV: 11-21-25 LF <br />FUNDING AGREEMENT <br />FOR HUMAN SERVICES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Particular Council of San Mateo <br />County Incorporated <br />THIS AGREEMENT for Human Services Financial Assistance Program <br />(“Agreement”), made and entered into as of ____________________, 2025, by and <br />between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California (“City”), and Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Particular Council of San <br />Mateo County Incorporated, a California nonprofit corporation (“Recipient”). Collectively, <br />the City and Recipient will be referred to as the “Parties.” <br />RECITALS <br />A. WHEREAS, Recipient through its Peninsula Family Resource Center <br />(PFRC) helps prevent homelessness by assisting low-income families and individuals <br />with essential needs such as food, rent, utilities, transportation, clothing, and furniture; <br />and <br />B. WHEREAS, Recipient has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program for residents of Redwood City during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026; and <br />C. WHEREAS, City has reviewed the request and desires to allocate to <br />Recipient the sum Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Recipient the sum of Ten <br />Thousand Dollars $10,000.00 for exclusive use by Recipient during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, to be used by Recipient solely for <br />the purposes described in Section 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Recipient shall use the funds provided pursuant to Section 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit “A” (Program Objectives) attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program as described in Exhibit <br />“A” to this Agreement shall be made without the prior written consent of City Manager. <br />4. PAYMENTS. Recipient will keep detailed and accurate records of all expenditures <br />made and expenses incurred which are funded under this Agreement.
