CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Martínez Saballos called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and <br />following preliminary remarks, he called for a moment of silence for two community members, <br />Benigno Nuguid Pare and Anil Kumar Sharma, who tragically lost their lives in a fire that recently <br />occurred in Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL - Council Members Chu, Gee, Howard, Padilla, Sturken, Vice Mayor Eakin and Mayor <br />Martínez Saballos. Council Member Chu participated remotely from 3049 Page Street, Redwood <br />City, CA 94063. <br /> <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Council Member Howard led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />4. AB 2449 REQUESTS AND CONSIDERATIONS FOR MEETING PARTICIPATION BY <br />TELECONFERENCE DUE TO JUST CAUSE OR EMERGENCY CIRCUMSTANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. PRESENTATIONS/ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS <br /> <br /> 5.A. Proclamation recognizing Second Harvest of Silicon Valley <br />Silicon Valley Program Director Josué Barajas and his team accepted the proclamation <br />and gave remarks. <br /> <br /> 5.B. Proclamation recognizing San Mateo County Central Labor Council's 90th Anniversary <br />San Mateo County Central Labor Council Executive Officer Julie Lind accepted the <br />proclamation and gave remarks. <br /> <br />6.
