ATTY/RESO.0025/CC RESO PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPTION OF THE FY 26-27 BUDGET REV: 05-28-26 MI Page 1 of 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16411 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY SETTING JUNE 22, 2026, AS THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON AND ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 BUDGET, DIRECTING COPIES OF THE RECOMMENDED FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 BUDGET TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE AVAILABILITY OF THE RECOMMENDED FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 BUDGET AND THE DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, Section 51.5 of the City Charter requires that the City Council establish a date for a public hearing on the upcoming fiscal year budget and establish, by resolution, the date for final adoption of such budget; and WHEREAS, the public hearing and final budget adoption date of June 22, 2026, for the fiscal year 2026-27 budget was approved in concept at the June 8, 2026, City Council meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1.Pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, June 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City Hall, the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, is hereby set as the time and place for public hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2026-27 and also for final adoption of such budget. 2.The City Council directs that copies of the budget shall be filed with the City Clerk for inspection by the public. 3.The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice to be published stating that copies of the proposed budget are available for inspection at the City Clerk's office and stating the time and place at which the Council will hold a public hearing. 4.This resolution is effective upon the date of its adoption. * * *
