ATTY/RESO.0041/CC RESO ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CIP REV: 06-16-26 MI Page 1 of 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16420 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE PERIOD OF FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 THROUGH FISCAL YEAR 2030-31 WHEREAS, a proposed Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”) for Fiscal Years (“FY”) 2026-27 through FY 2030-31 (hereinafter referred to as the “Adopted CIP” and incorporated herein by reference) has been prepared by the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the Adopted CIP is on file with the City Clerk, and is available for review upon request; and WHEREAS, on May 5, 2026, the Planning Commission, having independently heard, considered, and weighed all the evidence in the record, found that the proposed Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 conforms to and is consistent with the Redwood City General Plan, and applicable law; and WHEREAS, after due deliberation and consideration, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City to adopt the Adopted CIP presently on file in the office of the City Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this resolution. SECTION 2. The Adopted CIP is hereby adopted. The adoption is for all five years of the Adopted CIP presently on file in the office of the City Clerk. Upon adoption of a future five-year CIP, this appropriation shall be superseded. SECTION 3. Adoption of the Adopted CIP is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it is not a “project” pursuant to Section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines. SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption. * * *
