<br />REBOLU!ION <br /> <br />NO.!... 1~'67 <br /> <br />URGING INSTALLATION OF SIGNAL LIGHTS AT THE <br />INTERSECTIONS OF EL CAMINO REAL, OAKWOOD DRIVE, <br />AND DUMBARTON AVENUE IN AND NEAR REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />Whereas there has been presented to the Council of Redwood <br /> <br />City a petition signed by many residents residing in the area <br />urging the construction and installation of a signal on EI Camino <br />Real to control traffic at the intersection of EI Camino Real, <br /> <br />Dumbarton Avenue, and Oabvood Drive; whereas, Council of Redwood <br /> <br />City feels that the installation of such signals is necessary to <br /> <br />provide safety for both pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic. <br /> <br />Now, therefore, it is hereby resolved by the Council of <br /> <br />Redwood City as follows: <br />1. The Department of Public Works is hereby urged to install <br /> <br />a hand operated signal for pedestrians at Dumbarton Avenue and <br /> <br />Oakwood Drive, and a trip signal for motor vehicles making left- <br />hand turns onto El Camino Real from the intersections of Dumbarton <br /> <br />Avenue and EI Gamino Real, and the intersection of Oakwood Drive <br />and EI Camino Real. <br /> <br />2. That the Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />directed to forwa~d a certified copy of this Resolution to the <br /> <br />Department of Public Works of the state of California. <br /> <br />~~ i} i~ ~~ ~~ ~~ <br />
