HANSEN TO ALLOW CAR-PORT TO BE FOUR FEET, TWO INCHES 'FROM SIDE LINE, AND-ZERO FEET FROM HOUSE ON LOT 21, BLOCK 15, tlOAK KNOLL MANORII. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City, State of California, has submitted the application of F. P. Hansen for a variance or adjustment, with the recommen- dation that such application be granted; and, WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has considered said application for variance or adjustment in accordance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. ?OO, said Ordin- ance being the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City; and, NOi'li::,~;tP~REFORE"uthe\.Gotincil of' Redwood Ci ty hereby re- solved as follows: 1. Said Council hereby finds that the following condi- tions exist: (a) That there are exceptional ~r extraordinary circumstances which apply to the land, building or use referred to in the appliqatio~which circumstances or conditions do not generally apply to land, buildings or uses in the same district. (b) That the granting of' the applic~tion is necessary f'or the preservation and enjoyment of' substantial property rights of the petitioner. (c) That the granting of such application will not materially aff'ect adversely neighboring property or the public welfare or the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood. 2. Said Council hereby grants to F. P. Hansen a variance in the side yard requirements on Lot 21, Block 1.5, "Oak Knoll ManortJ, commonly known and designated as 142 stanley Street, - 1 -
