6/25/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14261 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE REDWOOD SHORES <br />STREET SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />(SMITH -EMERY COMPANY) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires geotechnical and <br />construction materials testing and inspection services in connection with the <br />Redwood Shores Street System Improvements Project in the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services; and <br />WHEREAS, Smith -Emery Company of San Francisco, California, <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the <br />aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Services — Redwood Shores Street System Improvements Project' (form dated <br />June 15, 2001), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and Smith -Emery Company, for the <br />performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on <br />Reso -1177 1 <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Counci I <br />DES:d k <br />06/15/01 <br />
