FAVYS <br />RE1YvA1O0D GARDID ;ITT . <br />!WHEREAS,, the planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of TvILOLLIE FAIRBANKS for variance with <br />the recommendation that such application be granted, and <br />I'THEREAS the Council of Redwood City has considered said <br />application for variance in accordance with Section 20 of <br />01rdinance No. 600., said ordinance being the zoning ordinance <br />CD <br />of the City of Redwood City., <br />NOW. TH1EREFORE., TITIE COUNCIL OF REUNOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: ­ <br />1. Said Council finds that the following conditions exist: <br />a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, build- <br />in or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not <br />g enerally apply to lands, buildings, or uses <br />0 <br />in the same district. <br />b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br />i <br />c) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare or the health <br />or safety of persons residing or working in <br />the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to MALIE FAIRBANKS a <br />variance to allow a six foot (6i ) side yard' on the street side <br />It <br />of Lot 2, Block A, Fay's Redwood Garden, subject to the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />a) Construction of the extension to the exist- <br />ing garage will be commenced within six (6) <br />months from the date of this resolution and <br />will be diligently prosecuted to completion <br />thereafter. <br />
