(209) <br /> <br />City Clerk Jorgenson presented a review of the Council and City Clerk Department past <br />attempts to increase the number of applications to Council-appointed boards, committees <br />and commissions. She advised that the current recruitments had not produced enough <br />applicants to fill the upcoming vacancies and she had already extended one deadline. <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on April 1, 1996 <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buehan, Claire, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following action was taken by the Council and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor ltartnett determined it was the consensus of the <br /> Counc'd to call the Counc'd Ad Hoc committee together again (Vice Mayor <br /> Howard and Councilwoman Buchan) to consider this issue, and to extend the <br /> current recruitment deadlines up to sixty days. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
