RESOLUTION N0. 1847 <br />WAIVING RESTRICTIONS IN DEED TO LOT 15 <br />BLOCK 1 HOMESTEAD ADDITION. <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the City in 1945 attached the <br />following conditions in a deed: <br />"One of the conditions upon which this deed <br />is executed is that no dwelling house shall <br />be built by the grantees, their successors <br />or assigns, or permitted by grantor, on the <br />above described lot alone. This lot, <br />together with an adjoining lot shall con- <br />stitute a building lot. In case of violation <br />of this condition the property shall be for- <br />feited to the grantor herein." <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the purpose for which said con- <br />dition was inserted in said deed is impossible of accomplishment <br />at this time; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Council of Redwood City hereby waives the enforce- <br />ment of the restrictions contained in the aforementioned deed <br />covering all of the hereinafter described property: <br />Lot 15, Block 1 as designated on the map entitled <br />"Map of Homestead Addition No. 2, Redwood City, <br />being a subdivision of Lots 31 and 32 of the Reese <br />Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm, San <br />Mateo County, Calif." <br />2. The Clerk of Redwood City is hereby directed to record <br />a certified copy of this resolution in the office of the Recorder <br />of San Mateo County, California. <br />
