RESOLUTION N0. 1868 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO CARL FRETCHEN <br />AND E. M. deCOUX TO ALLOW 5' REAR <br />YARD, LOTS 7 AND 9, BLOCK 11, DINGEE <br />PARK. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of CARL FRETCHEN and E. M. deCoux for a <br />variance with the recommendation that such application be granted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, building <br />or use referred to in the application, which <br />circumstances or conditions do not generally <br />apply to lands, buildings or uses in the same <br />district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will not <br />materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare, health or <br />safety of persons residing or working in the <br />neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to CARL FRETCHEN and E. M. <br />deCOUX a variance to allow a five foot (5f) rear yard on Lots <br />7 and 9, Block 11, Dingee Park, for the purpose of construction <br />of two medical buildings, subject to the condition that all con- <br />struction shall be in strict accordance with the plan heretofore <br />submitted to the Planning Commission and the Council of Redwood <br />City. <br />
