KWb :J: jm 6/18/55/8c <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />CALLING FOR BIDS FOR BONDS <br />FIRST SALE <br />PING DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />California, that <br />1. Bids shall be called by the City Clerk for the sale of <br />$500,000 of bonds authorized to be issued pursuant to Resolution <br />No. 1808 of Intention, adopted by this Council on December 20, <br />1954. <br />2. Notice thereof shall be given by the Clerk causing to <br />be mailed notices of sale of said bonds to the various banks and <br />bond houses cf his selection. <br />3. The Council will furnish the legal opinion of the law <br />firm of Rirkbride, Wilson, Harzfeld & Wallace, San Mateo, <br />California, unqualifiedly approving the legality of the proceed- <br />ings and the issuance of said bonds. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly <br />and regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the <br />City of redwood City, California, at a. regular meeting thereof <br />held on the 11th day of July , 1955 by the following <br />vote of the members thereof: <br />AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Bri t s chgi s Granger, <br />Jones, Royer, Spillers, Stout and Herkner. <br />NOES, Councilmen: None. <br />,ABSENT, Councilmen: None. <br />t <br />City Clerk of the ity of Redwood City <br />APPROVED: <br />Mayor Pro- tem <br />
